March 12, 2017

The meeting of the Wild Bunch 4-H Club was called to order on March 12, 2017 at 3:15.  The Installation of Officers Ceremony was held. Ella Meyer read the previous meetings minutes. Owen Meyer moved to approve the previous meetings minutes and Bridger Viergets seconded the motion. Motion passed with general consent.

Owen Meyer read the Bank Statement. The club has $975.67 in its bank account. Ella Meyer moved to approve the Bank Statement and Isabella Tomlin seconded the motion. Motion passed with general consent.

Mrs.Tomlin gave a report about the swine meeting, Ella Meyer gave a report about the food meeting.

Old Business: The card for Misty Hayes was passed around for everyone to sign. Certificates where given out for helping at Noel’s Christmas giving.

New Business: The club made plans to collet shoes during the months of March and April for Soles4Souls.  We decided to place 3 collection boxes around the community.  The club discussed going to the animal shelter on Tuesday March 21st from 2-4. Owen Meyer moved to approve that the club would go to the animal shelter on the 21st, Megan Stoltenburg seconded the motion. Motion passed with general consent. The county Fair project was discussed. The meeting was adjourned at 3:48 p.m.

Sunday January 22, 2017  

Hailey Blackburn called the meeting to order at 3:05.  Ella Meyer read the minutes from the previous meeting, minutes were approved as read. Owen Meyer led the 4-H pledge and Ceara Moffat led the Pledge of Allegiance. The club has $957.54 in its account. Trenton Williams motioned to approve the treasurer’s report and Elza Moffat seconded it, motion passed unanimously.

The club elected officers as follows:

President: Hailey Blackburn

Vice President: Cerra Moffat

Secretary: Ella Meyer

Treasurer: Owen Meyer

Reporter: Savanna Moffat

Historian: Megan Stoltenburg

Rec Leader: Elza Moffat

Elza Moffat moved to approve all officers, Trenton Williams seconded the motion.

The club has a new leader to take the place of Misty Hays.  Misty Hays has retired as club leader after many years of service, so we brainstormed ideas on what to give Misty as a thank you present for what she has done for and with us in the past.  Ella Meyer moves to give Misty flowers and an gift card totaling $100. Trenton Williams seconded and motion passed.

Hailey Blackburn discussed old business. The club agreed on holding their meetings the second Sunday of every month.   The club brainstormed ideas for community service, and our new leader, Sarah, wanted to have us do at least one every month, such as:

Soles for Souls

Volunteering at the Animal Shelter

May day baskets for the senior center

Stuffed animals for the highway patrolmen

Valentines for Cancer Patients

Hailey Blackburn discussed the announcements.

February 12, 2017

The Wild Bunch 4-H club meeting was called to order at 3:08 pm. Ella Meyer volunteered to do the Pledge of Allegiance. Ceara Moffat voluntered to do the 4-H pledge. Ella Meyer read the previous meeting’s minutes and the bank statement. Savanna Moffat moved to approve the minutes, Ronnie Wagner seconded it. Motion passed with general consent.

The Wild Bunch checking account has $982.56 in it. Trenton Williams moved to approve the bank statement, Megan Stoltenburg seconded the motion. Motion passed with general consent.

Megan Stoltenburg gave a report on the shooting sports meeting, Elza Moffat gave a report on the chicken meeting, Ceara Moffat gave a report on a rabbit meeting, Tara Wagner gave a report on the dog meeting and the Moffats gave a report on the 4-H council meeting.

There was no old business.

The community service project for February was to make cards for Cancer patients. Our next community service project is the Soles For Souls in March. The group decided to put boxes around town, have Ella Meyer do an radio announcement and put up posters that they send us. No high heels accepted, anything else including water shoes are acceptable. Ceara Moffat went over the announcements. Elza Moffat gave a presentation on how to crack eggs. The meeting was adjourned by Ceara Moffat at 4:22 pm.
