Description:
Common Wyoming Pest Grasshoppers is a pocket-sized field book that includes detailed information and photographs of 17 of the most important economic species of grasshoppers in the state in terms of rangeland and crop damage. It describes the nymph and adult stages in a simple way, and it discusses the economic importance of each species, and how the troublesome species can be controlled. It also points out that some of the species pose no threat to broadleaf crops. The primary target audience for the book includes weed and pest control personnel, farmers, ranchers, land managers, homeowners, and scouts with the USDA's APHIS-PPQ.
