Master Money Manager Coach train-the-trainer Cheyenne Jan. 30-31
January 30 @ 8:30 am - January 31 @ 3:30 pm$125
UW Extension will be offering a train-the-trainer event for community organizations to learn about teaching money management in their communities. The course will be in Cheyenne January 30 and 31 in the Pathfinder Building on the campus at LCCC.
The Master Money Manager Coach program will train participants to help individuals on basic money management topics. It is recommended for community organizations, nonprofits and agencies who wish to help their clients better understand and manage their financial life.
The aim of the program is to train coaches from community organizations who will increase the capacity of their clients to become financially stable. The two-day training will introduce the coaches to the Money Smart curriculum, teach about adult learning, and provide tools to use in interacting with clients over time. The curriculum covers 11 topics from banking to debt management to making large purchases and is adaptable to client interactions that are short or long.
UW Extension is an arm of the University of Wyoming tasked with providing non-credit life-long learning programs in all Wyoming’s counties.
No knowledge of teaching or money management is necessary. A registration fee of $125 will cover the class and two lunches and snacks. Space is limited. Sponsorships may be available.
A similar training has already been offered in Jackson and a future training will be offered March 7 and 8 in Gillette. Gillette, Wyoming.
Date: January 30 and 31 from 8:30am to 5pm, then 8:30am to 3:30pm
