One of my favorite books called <em>Cowboy Ethics <\/em>by James P. Owen, contains ten \u201ccowboy codes of the West\u201d. Whenever my patience is tested or I am tempted to engage in a nonproductive argument I like to remember one \u201ccode\u201d in particular. Code number eight as written by Owen reminds us to \u201cTalk less, say more.\u201d Make your words count for something, don\u2019t simply add to the swirling masses of useless chatter. We are much more likely to be listened to and respected when we concisely and eloquently convey our ideas. So I challenge you to give it a try! You may be surprised at how it will change the way you think as well as the way others respond to your thoughts!
