\nDo you remember what it was like trying to decide what college you were going to attend? For me, it seems like it was just yesterday. This weekend I was lucky enough to have another first hand look at the experience. Discovery Days includes a number of events designed to introduce visitors to the UW experience in a group setting. Along with several other ambassadors, I was part of a student panel that sought to inform students potentially entering the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources. This got me thinking about my experience within the college\u2026<\/p>\n

Early on, if you had told me I would be graduating with a degree in agriculture, I would have thought you were nuts! To my pleasant surprise, after entering my degree program (Agriculture Communications) I soon came to realize that there is so much more to the college than farming and ranching. In fact, there are many programs that I wouldn\u2019t have even thought were in the college. For example, I found out that I could add an interior design minor to my degree. This was an exciting addition to my already versatile class load. <\/p>\n

Along with the varied course selection, the faculty within the college was so helpful with trying to guide and help me figure out what my ultimate goals were. I am so lucky to have been exposed to opportunities that may not have been available elsewhere. <\/p>\n
