Annie\u2019s Project is an educational program dedicated to strengthening women\u2019s roles in agriculture. The program is designed to help inform farm and ranch women about topics in business and life management and to help them build connections to their peers in the community.<\/p>\n
Participants are women with a passion for agriculture. Annie\u2019s Project is a multi-session course\u00a0 that covers the five areas of agricultural risk: financial, human resources, legal, marketing and production. Each class session\u00a0has presentations intermixed with discussions based on the participants\u2019 insights and questions. About a third of each program is dedicated to discussion. In this way the program provides an opportunity to learn from agricultural professionals and interact with other women in similar situations.<\/p>\n
