It follows the USDA MyPlate and the Dietary Guidelines for Americans. CNP is free to families and individuals who income\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/uwyocnp.org\/cnp-qualify\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">qualify<\/a><\/span>.<\/p><p>CNP is part of the University of Wyoming Extension and the University of Wyoming Family and Consumer Sciences Department.<\/p><h4>Join and learn secrets to:<\/h4><blockquote><p align=\"justify\">1. Invest your food dollars in the best nutrition choices<br \/>2. Stretch your food dollar to last the whole month<br \/>3. Choose foods lower in fat and cholesterol<br \/>4. Prepare low-cost meat dishes in tender, delicious ways<br \/>5. Recognize advertising techniques that encourage you to spend more<br \/>6. Increase calcium intake by including more calcium-rich foods in your diet<br \/>7. Plan meals your family will enjoy<br \/>8. Alter recipes so they are lower in fat, sugar, and sodium<br \/>9. Protect your family from food borne illnesses<br \/>10. Save time, energy, and make new friends!<\/p><\/blockquote><p align=\"left\">A series of lessons are available to participants.
