EXPLORE!
We are so excited to welcome you to Ready, Set, Explore! This program is designed to help you and your family step outside, discover the wonders of nature, and create lasting memories together.
About Ready, Set, Explore
Ready, Set, Explore! is a family-friendly program designed to help Wyoming families get outside, explore nature, and create lasting memories together.
Each month, participants can choose from a variety of activities and challenges that encourage exploration, creativity, learning, and a deeper connection to the outdoors. Families might hike a new trail, observe wildlife, try a hands-on activity, or simply spend time discovering what is in their own backyard.
The program also includes optional resources such as nature journaling prompts, Leave No Trace tips, vibrant health tips, snack ideas, and natural resource handouts. Families may also have opportunities to participate in local, in-person activities hosted by University of Wyoming Extension educators.
Help Wyoming Families Explore Together
Sometimes the best family memories start with something simple—a hike, a backyard scavenger hunt, watching wildlife, or an afternoon at a local park.
Ready, Set, Explore! helps Wyoming families turn those everyday moments into opportunities for connection, movement, learning, and adventure. Through free monthly activities, families are encouraged to step away from screens, explore Wyoming’s outdoors, and make meaningful memories together.
