The next Central Wyoming Commercial<\/strong> Pesticide Education Class will be in\u00a0 January 2026<\/strong>, at the Ramkota Hotel in Casper.\u00a0 To learn more about getting your commercial applicator’s license visit:\u00a0 https:\/\/uwyoextension.org\/psep\/commercial-applicators\/licensing\/<\/p>

To obtain a Private<\/strong> Pesticide\u00a0 Applicator’s license, self-study and proctored exam is available.\u00a0<\/p>

The training materials consist of these documents:<\/p>

  • Wyoming Pesticide Applicator Certification CORE manual (required<\/strong>).<\/li>
  • UW Bulletins for Commercial and Private Applicator Education (recommended, not require<\/strong>d). This document is referred to as the MP-124.<\/li><\/ul>

    The Agricultural Resource and Learning Center is located at 2011 Fairgrounds Road Casper, WY 82604<\/p>

    To purchase and use restricted-use pesticides you must be certified by the Wyoming Department of Agriculture.<\/p>

    Agricultural educators equipped with the latest research share ways to improve the sustainability of Wyoming livestock and crop enterprises and work with you on your horticultural and rural living issues.<\/p>

    Areas of focus include intensive training programs such as:
    \u2022 Wyoming Master Cattleman
    \u2022 High Plains Ranch Practicum
    \u2022 Master Gardener on-line learning programs addressing agricultural risk, enterprise feasibility, and strategic planning issues important to rural living landowners.<\/p>
