Join UW Extension Horticulture Educator, Bobbie Holder, for the annual Butterfly Count this Saturday, August 6th. Bobbie discuss native butterflies and their host habitats along with how butterflies play a vital role in our greater Yellowstone ecosystem.
DATE/TIME: Saturday, August 6th, at 9:30am
LOCATION: 11.5mi up Chief Joseph Scenic Byway (State Hwy 296) from Hwy 120 – you’ll see other cars in the large pull-out area
COST: $3/person
BRING YOUR OWN: Water, lunch/snacks, bug spray, sun screen, camera, chair(s)

The butterfly count walk is 10am to 1pm. From 2pm to 4pm, Bobbie will teach about native butterflies and their habitats and host plants.
