Growing Grapes in WY Symposium (Lander)

Are you interested in starting your own vineyard or improving your vineyard management skills?  This is a one day event that is filled with all the basic information you need to start your own vineyard. The morning session will be indoors and focus on the basics like understanding soils and Wyoming’s climate, vineyard site selection, and variety options. There will also be a short discussion for the hobbyist that only want a few vines and not a full vineyard.

The afternoon will be spent outdoors exploring and discussing topics in a local vineyard. This will be a great opportunity to see what others are doing in the area and take the discussion into a hands classroom.
