UWE Podcast Launch: “From the Cowboy State” is a podcast hosted by Makayla Getz, the Agriculture and Natural Resources Educator in Park County, WY with University of Wyoming Extension, highlighting various topics relevant to the continuously evolving field of Agriculture with guest speakers from across the state. Listen to “From the Cowboy State” every other week on all platforms where you can listen to podcasts.

Equine Health and Training Workshop: Join your Park County Extension team for a Saturday workshop focused on everything equine health and training. UWE will provide lunch as well as presentations from Dr. Vlahos from Yellowstone Equine Hospital, Flyin’ B Equine, and Gary Cooper Horsemanship.

Date: Saturday, September 7th

Location: W Arena, Cody, WY

Wyoming Walks: Come walk with us one day each month this summer and learn more about your community! The goal of this program is to promote personal health and walking with an expert for learning, health, and wellness by offering a series of walks in unique locations. Learn about your town and county, make new friends, and exercise in a whole new way!

Women in Agriculture Evening: The UWE Women in Agriculture Program is a grassroots program that originated from ANR Educator, McKenna Julian, in Uinta County. Due to the success in SW Wyoming the program, and need throughout the entire state, this program has spread and now there are different programs taking place throughout different parts of the state. 

Join us for an evening event in Powell, WY this fall to connect and network with other women invovled in agriculture in different ways.
