Description:
Climate change-related uncertainties complicate development of rangeland management practices to cope and adapt at regional and smaller spatial scales. Recognizing that these changes can potentially have strong impacts on rangeland systems, the Sustainable Rangelands Roundtable (SRR) convened a working group to consider the sustainability of rangelands under changing climate conditions. While much work on climate change impacts has focused on measuring risk and reducing uncertainty, the SRR working group focused on adaptation to reduce vulnerability and enhance resilience.
