Publication #: B-1378.5 Publication Author(s): |
Description: Mindful Eating, also called intuitive eating, applies the concept of mindfulness to our eating behaviors. Mindful eating refers to eating with presence, intention, and awareness. While variably defined, mindful eating is “nonjudgmental awareness of physical and emotional sensations associated with eating.” In contrast to mindful eating, mindless eating is a lack of awareness of the food that we are consuming.
