From working with farmers and ranchers to supporting local artisans in sharing their craft, she helps bring to life a tour that\u2019s as much about connection as it is about discovery.\n\nWith a background in Extension and a commitment to amplifying local voices, Makayla\u2019s role on the Ag &amp; Art Tour team is all about building experiences that connect visitors with the land, the people who steward it, and the creativity that grows alongside it. Growing up in Douglas, WY, she has a deep appreciation for the people, landscapes, and stories that make the state unique, and a passion for sharing those experiences with others.\nIn her role, she works closely with communities, organizations, and individuals across the state to support outdoor recreation, tourism, and agritourism efforts that connect visitors and residents to Wyoming\u2019s unique culture. She holds a M.S. degree in Animal and Veterinary Science from UW with an emphasis on livestock nutrition. With hands-on experience in livestock management, agriculture and outreach, she leads programs focused on agricultural education and natural resource stewardship. Outside of Extension, Brenna is a fine artist, illustrator, and digital designer\u2014creative skillsets that inform the innovative, interdisciplinary Extension programming she develops for her local community and beyond. Her early creative experiences included building fairy houses with natural materials, watercoloring mountain scenes, and photographing local wildlife. These moments shaped her view of art as a meaningful way to connect people to place and to each other.\n\nWhen she is not supporting the tour, Grace spends her time riding her horse, Tommy Tombstone, working on the ranch, hiking, and exploring leatherworking. She loves working with trees, school gardens, and answering all things plants. Growing up on a ranch outside of Lander, WY, Hannah is rooted in agriculture and strongly believes in increasing agriculture literacy and teaching people where their food and other ag commodities come from. She is the Executive Director of Arts Cheyenne and is dedicated to the expansion of local arts advocacy and programming. She runs \u2018Magpie Creations,\u2019\u2019 where she does printmaking, painting, and illustration and \u2018Magpie Consulting,\u2019 where she works with organizations, non-profits and individuals through planning, growth, and development needs. A fourth-generation Wyomingite from Sheridan, she holds a Psychology degree from the University of Wyoming. Since moving to Cheyenne in 2019, Amber has been passionate about supporting local businesses and creating engaging experiences. After working with the USDA in Cheyenne, she joined the Wyoming Office of Tourism and, more recently, Visit Laramie. Working with the Albany County Tourism Board for over 2 years now, Kera is eager to merge her passions by promoting agritourism. BJ\u2019s journey into agriculture, despite not growing up in it, reflects her passion for food, health, and community.
