\n\t\t\t\t\t\tMakayla Getz is a passionate University of Wyoming Extension educator who thrives at the crossroads of agriculture, community, and creativity. From working with farmers and ranchers to supporting local artisans in sharing their craft, she helps bring to life a tour that\u2019s as much about connection as it is about discovery.\n\nWith a background in Extension and a commitment to amplifying local voices, Makayla\u2019s role on the Ag & Art Tour team is all about building experiences that connect visitors with the land, the people who steward it, and the creativity that grows alongside it. Her work ensures that every farm stop and artist booth becomes an opportunity to learn, celebrate, and feel inspired by Wyoming\u2019s vibrant agricultural and creative communities.\n

\n\t\t\t\t\t\tHailey Sorg\t\t\t\t\t<\/h2>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\tHailey Sorg joined UW Extension and the Jay Kemmerer WORTH Institute in January 2023 as Wyoming\u2019s first Outdoor Recreation, Tourism, and Hospitality Extension Educator. Growing up in Douglas, WY, she has a deep appreciation for the people, landscapes, and stories that make the state unique, and a passion for sharing those experiences with others.\nIn her role, she works closely with communities, organizations, and individuals across the state to support outdoor recreation, tourism, and agritourism efforts that connect visitors and residents to Wyoming\u2019s unique culture. Since 2025, Hailey has been part of creating the Wyoming Ag & Art Tours. \nIn her free time, Hailey enjoys exploring Wyoming, playing guitar, and diving into a fun craft.\n

\n\t\t\t\t\t\tBrenna Litynski\t\t\t\t\t<\/h2>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\tBrenna Litynski is the Agriculture and Natural Resources Educator for the University of Wyoming Extension in Albany County. She holds a M.S. degree in Animal and Veterinary Science from UW with an emphasis on livestock nutrition. With hands-on experience in livestock management, agriculture and outreach, she leads programs focused on agricultural education and natural resource stewardship. Outside of Extension, Brenna is a fine artist, illustrator, and digital designer\u2014creative skillsets that inform the innovative, interdisciplinary Extension programming she develops for her local community and beyond. Her work in Extension bridges science and art to connect local producers and communities through accessible, engaging, and research-based education in Albany County and across Wyoming.\n

\n\t\t\t\t\t\tGrace Baas- Intern\t\t\t\t\t<\/h2>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\tJoining the Ag & Art Tour this year is communications intern Grace Baas, a senior at the University of Wyoming studying Animal and Veterinary Science.\n\nRaised in Wyoming, Grace grew up surrounded by the state\u2019s wide-open landscapes. Her early creative experiences included building fairy houses with natural materials, watercoloring mountain scenes, and photographing local wildlife. These moments shaped her view of art as a meaningful way to connect people to place and to each other.\n\nWhen she is not supporting the tour, Grace spends her time riding her horse, Tommy Tombstone, working on the ranch, hiking, and exploring leatherworking. If you see her at a tour stop this summer, take a moment to say hello.\n

Hannah Mills<\/h3>

Hannah Mills is the Horticulture Program Coordinator for the University of Wyoming in Laramie County, based in Cheyenne. She loves working with trees, school gardens, and answering all things plants. Growing up on a ranch outside of Lander, WY, Hannah is rooted in agriculture and strongly believes in increasing agriculture literacy and teaching people where their food and other ag commodities come from. She enjoys spending time with family gardening, backpacking, and working on projects in her free time.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Desiree Brothe<\/h3>

Desir\u00e9e has a Bachelors in Fine Arts\/Education and has worked in Community and Economic Development for 10 years. She is the Executive Director of Arts Cheyenne and is dedicated to the expansion of local arts advocacy and programming. She runs \u2018Magpie Creations,\u2019\u2019 where she does printmaking, painting, and illustration and \u2018Magpie Consulting,\u2019 where she works with organizations, non-profits and individuals through planning, growth, and development needs. When not working, she spends her time painting, drawing, gardening, and enjoying a good beer with her partner, Mike. <\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Amber Trevizo<\/h3>

Amber Trevizo is the Events and Special Projects Manager at Visit Cheyenne, where she brings creativity and community impact to every project. A fourth-generation Wyomingite from Sheridan, she holds a Psychology degree from the University of Wyoming. Since moving to Cheyenne in 2019, Amber has been passionate about supporting local businesses and creating engaging experiences. Outside of work, she enjoys camping, traveling, and adventuring with her family \u2014 including her bonus daughter, who\u2019s studying Child Psychology, and two spirited dogs.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Kera Deakins<\/h3>

Kera is from a quaint town in the Northern California hills and earned her animal science degree with a focus on rangelands from California State University, Chico. After working with the USDA in Cheyenne, she joined the Wyoming Office of Tourism and, more recently, Visit Laramie. Working with the Albany County Tourism Board for over 2 years now, Kera is eager to merge her passions by promoting agritourism. She aims to help Albany County's agricultural leaders capitalize on tourism opportunities, advancing Visit Laramie's mission to foster sustainable economic growth that benefits both businesses and communities.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

BJ Edwards<\/h3>

BJ Edwards is the founder of Taste of the Wind, a small-scale livestock operation in Laramie, Wyoming, focused on sustainable agriculture and nutrient-dense meat. With a background in rangeland ecology and ranch work across the state, she raises Icelandic sheep using seasonal, ecological grazing practices. BJ\u2019s journey into agriculture, despite not growing up in it, reflects her passion for food, health, and community. Through her business, she connects consumers to their food and fosters awareness of the relationships between land, livestock, and people \u2014 all while building a more resilient local food system.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
