Thanks for your interest in being a 4-H volunteer leader! To be approved as a 4-H volunteer leader, you must complete the New Leader Orientation and submit your consent for volunteer screening. New Leader Orientations are offered as a group training or on-line. If you wish to participate in a face to face group orientation, contact your county 4-H educator for the date of the next orientation in your county.
You can complete the on-line New Leader Orientation sessions anytime. There are 6 sessions and they range in length from 6 to 12 minutes. Each session also has handout(s) which you may want to review and/or print off in advance. While each session is an independent session, it will make the most sense if you complete them in the order below. After you have watched the session, return to this web page and complete the evaluation. Your evaluation will be submitted to the county 4-H educator as a record of your completion.
