The Noble Farm

In-season fresh vegetables and fruits; homemade breads, bagels, and granolas; pasture-raised chickens and turkeys; chicken bone broth; and homemade sauces using fresh produce from the farm.

The owners, Tamara and Stephen Cannon, moved to Gillette from North Carolina in 2020 largely because of the Wyoming Food Freedom Act. “We wanted to raise our own food and by extension start selling products to others,” Stephen says. “We were looking to move to a more rural area, and when we were making final decisions we learned of the WFFA. That really allowed us to do what we wanted to do.”

The couple purchased 45 acres west of Gillette and have since constructed one 100-ft high tunnel in addition to a 30-ft high tunnel. They also have about 6,000 square feet of outdoor growing space, including raised beds and traditional ground plots. Because of growing demand for produce, they are planning to build another high tunnel in 2025 or early 2026, and dedicate the space to raising berries and other fruits.
