The educational garden allows horticulturists, nutritionists, and others to make presentations and teach workshops on growing vegetables, fruits, herbs, and flowers, including pollinator species. The plan is to offer twice-monthly classes throughout the growing season on a variety of gardening-related topics (there could be occasional fees to help cover materials). A portion of the garden is designed to allow people with disabilities to fully participate in workshops and presentations; among the garden features are planting tables with wheelchair accessibility.
