HSCD offers assistance to county residents to improve their lands, including water quality and conservation, and has other conservation programs.

There are specialty-crop-related entries in the Open, FFA, and 4-H classes including ones in fresh produce, canned fruits & vegetables, and others.

Homemade jellies, jams, relishes, syrups, and salsa are available at Discover Thermopolis, and Thermopolis Farmer’s and Artisan’s Market.

Fresh produce, plant starts, and homemade bread are available at the Thermopolis Farmer’s and Artisan’s Market and through direct sales.

The store offers Wyoming-produced foods when possible, including fresh produce, locally produced honey, and spice blends.

RDMG oversees the Thermopolis Community Garden, hosts a farm-to-fork dinner, conducts yard visits, honors local gardeners, and has other programs.

About 50 outdoor plots are available to local groups and residents to grow vegetables, herbs, fruits, and flowers, including pollinators.
