Specialty Crop

SCCD offers seedling trees and shrubs, helps landowners design conservation plantings, and is involved in other conservation-related projects.

Specialty-crop-related entries include ones in fresh and canned fruits and vegetables, jellies and jams, floriculture, and many others.

UW Extension hosts workshops based on community interest, including horticulture; conducts yard visits; and participates in Grow a Little Extra.

The nursery offers vegetable and herb starts, seed potatoes, onion sets, shrubs and trees including fruit varieties, and flowers including pollinators.

Locally produced raw and pasteurized honey is available at 307 Mercantile Co. in Pinedale.
