Washakie County Conservation District

WCCD offers seedling trees and shrubs (including fruits and berries), native plants, landscape fabric, and composting bins.

Washakie County Fair

Specialty-crop-related entries in the Open, 4-H, and FFA contests include fresh produce, canned fruits and vegetables, and flowers, among others.

Washakie County Farmers Market

Fresh produce, locally produced honey, homemade canned and baked goods, fresh eggs, and dairy and meat products are available.

Washakie County Farmers Market Association

The association brings together producers and artisans to provide a variety of high-quality local produce and handmade goods.

Webfoot Island Ranch

Cindy and Matt Lentsch, and son Zane, offer fresh corn, pumpkins, tomatoes, and other produce at the Washakie County Farmers Market.

West Side Elementary School Gardening

The garden consists of six raised beds, a pumpkin patch, a trellis system with peas, beans, and snow peas, and a plum, pear, and peach orchard.

Worland Community Garden

The garden consists of ground plots, raised beds, a geodesic dome, and containers. Produce is donated to food pantries and social service agencies.

Worland Garden Club

The club promotes and encourages an interest in all types of gardening, offers educational programs, and maintains gardens in downtown Worland.

Worland High School Horticulture

Students grow fresh produce in 32 raised beds. Produce goes to the local food pantry and the school’s Family and Consumer Science program.
