Agriculture, State and Public Lands & Water Resources Committee

This committee of the Wyoming State Legislature reviews bills, hears testimony, and recommends action to the full body of the Senate or House on legislation relating to agriculture, state and public lands, water resources, among others.

Joint interim committees study topics assigned by the legislature’s Management Council. Some committee chairs may create sub-committees to address specified topics assigned to their joint interim committees, which often meet throughout the state.

The 2025 Agriculture, State and Public Lands & Water Resources Committee is composed of 14 legislators (with political party and district numbers): Sen. Bob Ide (R-SD 29) and Rep. John Winter (R-HD 28), co-chairs; senators Barry Crago (R-SD 22), Taft Love (R-SD 6), Troy McKeown (R-SD 24), and Laura Pearson (R-SD 14); and representatives Dalton Banks (R-HD 26), Bob Davis (R-HD 47), John Eklund (R-HD 10), Steve Johnson (R-HD 8), Pepper Ottman (R-HD 34), Karlee Provenza (D-HD 45), Mike Schmid (R-HD 20), and Tomi Strock (R-HD 6).
