Damian Judy, a staff member at The Herb House in Laramie, displays dried hawthorn berries and hops flowers, which are among the many offerings of herbs, teas, and tinctures sourced both locally and from around the Rocky Mountains. Damian explains that the white coating on the hawthorn berries is natural sucrose maturing in the outer skin.
The Herb House sells a variety of bulk herbs and teas, single-herb tinctures, and other products made from Rocky Mountain medicinal herbs, including some from Elk Mountain Herbs of Laramie, which sources herbs from organic gardens and also the Snowy Range.
