The Veterans’ Victory Garden is at the Sheridan VA Medical Center. The garden has been at the Fort MacKenzie site since about 1898. It has since become a community garden with a priority for veterans, according to an article in The Sheridan Press. Rooted in Wyoming collaborated with the VA in 2023 on a significant refurbishment project including a major garden clean-up, relocating existing planter beds, installing new planter beds — some of which are handicap accessible — and spreading mulch.
