Wild Edge Farm to Market
The year-round indoor farmers’ market opened in February 2024, and offers a wide variety of foods that are produced in Big Horn County and across Wyoming.
Among the offerings are in-season fresh produce; locally produced honey; homemade canned goods including salsas, hot sauces, pickled vegetables, jams, and jellies; raw popcorn, caramel corn, and cheddar corn; freeze-dried candies; farm-fresh eggs; homemade baked goods including scones, sourdough English muffins, and sourdough bagel chips; homemade granola and trail mix; gluten-free oats; farm-fresh eggs; dairy products including goat milk, buttermilk, cheese, and yogurt; meats including beef, pork, lamb, and bison; all-natural homemade elderberry syrup and elderberry kombucha; herbal tinctures and remedies; fresh roasted coffee beans and ground coffee; mushroom coffees and cocoas; artisan teas; and other products.
“The store is going extremely well, it really is,” says owner Cindy Asay. “What customers are buying is really broadening in scope, and our customer base continues to grow. Business has more than tripled since March 2024.”
Cindy says she hopes to begin selling produce year-round once she has the necessary storage facilities in the store and finds a year-round producer.
In addition to the food side of the business, she also operates Wild Edge Screenprinting, which offers custom screen printing, apparel decorating, home décor gifts, handcrafted jewelry, and other items.
