Range

The UW Extension Range Team provides education and technical assistance regarding rangelands, watershed health, wildlife, and related topics. Each individual Range Team educator serves a number of Wyoming counties and works to engage ranchers, natural resource professionals, and the general public in pursuit of science based land management.

Serving Sublette, Lincoln, Teton, Uinta, and Sweetwater counties, my personal areas of experience and expertise are:

Upland and Riparian Monitoring

Working with land owners and managers to understand how actions may or may not influence biotic communities.

Landscape Health Analysis

Using monitoring data and current science to address progress toward identified management goals.

Ranches and Small Acreage

Connecting ranches and small acreage land owners with the tools and extension knowledge base for effective livestock production.

Wildlife Habitat Ecology

Addressing habitat metrics and land use as it pertains to native wildlife.

Environmental Policy

Understanding NEPA, the Endangered Species Act, and other policies that influence how we manage landscapes.
