University of Wyoming Extension and Wyoming Stock Growers Association will be hosting the 2018 Southeast Wyoming Beef Production Convention in Torrington, Wyoming on November 20th at the Goshen County Fairgrounds.
This program, sponsored in part by Western SARE and the USDA Risk Management Agency (RMA), is a collection of workshops covering the issues affecting profitability of livestock producers. Featured topics include a panel discussion on blockchain technology in agriculture, Wyoming’s new trade agreement for Wyoming beef with Taiwan, a livestock market update, and a presentation on Beef Quality Assurance (BQA). Come learn why you, as a livestock producer in Wyoming, should get certified.

Registration is $20, $15 for students and includes a nice locally made lunch, coffee and pastries, and a trade show. Doors will open at 9 am for registration and the trade show, with the program beginning at 9:30 am and ending at 4:30 pm.
