Thursday, September 5th: Small Acreage Irrigation Seminar, 6 pm to 8:30 pm (Location: Riverton Branch Library Community Room, 1330 West Park Avenue, Riverton, WY)

Friday, September 7th: one-on-one meetings by appointment. Come and get your specific questions answered. Can also include site visits.

Whether purchasing a property or already an owner, you may have irrigation questions: Can I use the water from the ditch running across the property? What is a water right? Does the property have one? What is the best method to irrigate my property? How often should I irrigate? What are some ways to deal with conflicts with my neighbor over water?

Come get these answers and more! Representatives from University of Wyoming Extension, Wyoming Department of Ag and Wyoming State Engineers Office will be on hand to discuss and answer questions relating to water rights and irrigation strategies. Steps for addressing conflicts over water will also be addressed.
