Attendees are responsible for booking their own hotel reservations separate from conference registration. Block rooms are available through Blair Hotels (Holiday Inn and Comfort Inn) in Cody. The conference is at the Holiday Inn and the Comfort Inn is neighboring. Room accommodations are $109 (before tax). Rooms at the Holiday Inn are under “ZNR, NACAA AMPIC conference”. Rooms are the Comfort Inn are under “NACAA AMPIC Conference”.
Getting to Cody:
Driving: Cody is located in Northwest Wyoming just 50 miles from Yellowstone National Park. It is accessible via US 14A, 14, 16, 20; and WY120. Interstates 25 and 90 allow an approach to Cody from the southeast and east. From the north, Montana 310 connects I-90 with Wyoming 120. From the south, take I-25 to Casper and then US 120 to Thermopolis, and Wyoming 120 to Meeteetse and Cody. From the east, Powell and Yellowstone Country are approached by US Hwy. 14-A and the scenic Medicine Wheel passage through the Big Horn Mountains.
Yellowstone National Park: All entrances to the park remain open until November 5th. However, Fishing Bridge over the Yellowstone River will have a FULL closure for construction beginning October 15th. People needing to travel through Yellowstone to or from Cody will need to use the Northeast Entrance during the closure.
Flying: The Yellowstone Regional airport offers year-round flights to Cody on United Express or Delta Airlines. SkyWest Airlines partners with United and Delta to provide flights to into Cody through a connecting flight in Salt Lake City, UT (Delta) or Denver, CO (United). Yellowstone Regional Airport
