The University of Wyoming Extension Plant Disease Diagnostic Clinic offers disease identification and provides recommendations to the client. We serve as a diagnostic resource for extension professionals, growers, landscapers, and home owner samples and is offered as a free service.
A sample may be submitted as a physical sample or as a digital submission. For the most accurate diagnosis it is important that the clinic receive samples in good condition and with sufficient amount of plant material. Please refer to the sample submissions tab for additional instructions as well as the submission form.
Services offered:
- Visual identification including microscopy
- Culturing for bacteria and fungi when necessary
- ELISA test for select pathogens (please contact first, for additional cost)
