Using CNP Magic Mix and a little elbow grease, you can enjoy a dessert that tastes like ice cream with reduced saturated fat and calories.

Ingredients

⅓cupsugar
⅓cupCNP Magic Mix
1cuplow-fat milk
½teaspoonvanilla
1cupchopped fruitoptional
Rock Salt
Crushed ice
11 pound coffee can with lidor quart freezer bags
13 pound coffee can with lidor gallon freezer bags
aluminum foil

Instructions
Beat egg and place in saucepan. Add sugar, CNP Magic Mix and milk. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until thick and bubbly.
Remove pan from heat and chill in refrigerator at least 30 minutes.
Add vanilla and fruit, if desired. Try mashed bananas, sliced strawberries, or chopped peaches or pears.
Pour mixture in the small coffee can. Cover with foil and put on the lid.
Place the small can inside the large can. Layer ice salt around the small can until full. Put lid on the large can and secure with duct tape. Roll can 10-15 minutes.
Carefully remove lids and foil so salt water does not get into dessert. Stir frozen edges into center. Replace foil, lids and duct tape. Roll for 5 minutes more.
Remove lids and foil. Serve in 4 bowls.
Notes
Shake Instead of Roll
Use resealable plastic freezer bags instead of coffee cans. Use quart bag for the mixture. Double bag. Place inside gallon bag and layer with ice and salt around bag. Double bag. Seal and shake 10 to 15 minutes or until desired consistency.
Variations
Butternut Squash - Instead of fruit add 1 cup butternut squash, baked mashed and cooled, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, and 1/2 teaspoon cardamom.
Chocolate - Use 1/3 cup CNP Chocolate Magic Mix and 1 Tbsp plus 1 tsp all-purpose flour instead of regular CNP Magic Mix.
Kale mint - Instead of fruit, add 1 cup finely chopped kale (stems removed) and 1/4 teaspoon mint extract.
