1cup½ pound lean ground beefbeef, turkey, or game
2teaspoonsCNP Italian Seasoning
16-ounce cantomato paste
1cuplow-fat mozzarella cheeseshredded
½cuplow-fat cottage cheese
¼cupParmesan cheesegrated
1cuplow-fat milk
⅔cupCNP Master Mix
2eggs
½teaspoonsalt
¼teaspoonblack pepper
Nonstick spray
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F. Coat a 9- or 10-inch pie plate or 8x8-inch baking pan with non-stick spray.
Stir ground meat over medium heat until brown; drain fat. Stir in spices, tomato paste, and 1⁄2 cup of the mozzarella cheese.
In the baking pan, layer cottage cheese and Parmesan cheese. Spoon meat mixture over the top.
In a bowl, beat milk, CNP Master Mix, eggs, salt, and pepper until smooth. Pour over the meat mixture.
Bake at 400°F for 30-35 minutes. Sprinkle remaining mozzarella cheese on top.
