Ingredients
1large yellow onion
2cupcornflakes cerealcrushed
1 ½cupsCNP Magic Mix
⅓cupWater
½teaspoononion powder
½teaspoonsalt
½teaspoonblack pepper
½teaspooncayenne pepper
Nonstick spray
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F. Coat a baking sheet with nonstick spray.
Slice onion into ¼-inch rounds and separate into rings.
Spread half the cornflake crumbs on a plate.
To make batter, mix CNP Magic Mix, water, and spices in a shallow bowl.
In batches, dip onion rings into batter (letting excess drip off) and then coat in cornflake crumbs. Use second half of cornflake crumbs as needed.
Place on baking sheets. Bake at 400°F until brown, about 30 minutes. Turn once while baking.
