
Kale Chips
These crispy kale bites are a great way to get in a serving of vegetables without giving up the potato chip crunch.

Ingredients
- 1 pound kale
- 1 Tablespoon canola oil
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon coarse salt
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
- ¼ teaspoon onion powder (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 300˚F.
- Rinse kale and pat dry, with a paper towel or let air dry.
- Remove the stem in each leaf with a knife. Rip leaves into medium-sized pieces and place in a large bowl.
- Add canola oil, then thoroughly toss the kale and oil together, using your hands or with spatula. Add seasonings and mix again.
- Spread kale evenly on large baking sheet for 1 day. Stored chips will be less crisp.
- Bake at 300°F on baking sheet on middle rack for 15 minutes. Turn chips and bake 15 minutes more until chips are crispy.
- Store in an airtight container.
