Baked Beans
Make your own baked beans for a barbecue or summertime meal. Store bought baked beans tend to have added sugars, but you can still enjoy this delicious side with these ingredients.

Ingredients
- 4 cups cooked Great Northern or kidney beans (or 2 15-ounce cans, drained)
- ⅔ cup onion (chopped)
- 4 Tablespoons molasses
- 4 Tablespoons ketchup
- 2 teaspoons dry mustard
- ½ cup Water
- black pepper to taste
- Nonstick spray
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 300°F. Spray a 9x13-inch baking pan with nonstick spray.
- Place onion in the bottom of the baking pan.
- In a bowl, mix together beans, molasses, ketchup, mustard, water, and black pepper.
- Spoon mixture over onions and cover dish with aluminum foil.
- Bake at 300°F for 1 hour.
