Burrito Bake
The Burrito Bake uses whole-wheat flour for added fiber. Serve with your favorite toppings like salsa, sour cream, or tortilla chips. This recipe uses CNP Meat Sauce and CNP Master Mix, base mixes you can make ahead of time and store so daily meal prep is easier and faster.

Ingredients
- 1 cup CNP Master Mix
- ⅓ cup low-fat milk (or water)
- 2 cups refried beans ( or 15-ounce can)
- 2 cups thawed CNP Meat Sauce (or 1 lb lean ground beef)
- salt and black pepper (to taste)
- 1 cup Homemade salsa (or jarred salsa)
- 1 to 1 ½ cups low-fat cheddar cheese (shredded)
- Nonstick spray
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray a 9-inch round pan with nonstick spray.
- Mix CNP Master Mix, milk or water, and refried beans. Spread in the 9-inch round pan.
- If using CNP Meat sauce, thaw mixture. If using lean ground meat, brown with salt and pepper. Drain fat. Spoon meat over the bean mixture.
- Add salsa and then cheese.
- Bake uncovered at 350°F for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let stand 15 minutes before serving. Serve with salsa, sour cream, and/or tortilla chips.

- You can prepare this dish the night before. Refrigerate overnight, then bake when ready.
