Peanut Butter Popcorn Balls
Popcorn is a whole grain! Enjoy this snack with added protein from peanut butter.

Ingredients

cups
popped popcorn
without salt or butter
¼
cup
honey
¼
cup
creamy peanut butter
wax paper
Instructions
Put popped popcorn in a large, shallow baking pan or electric skillet.
Keep popcorn warm in oven set to 250°F or in electric skillet set to 200°F. Popcorn must be warm to make the balls.
Pour honey into a small saucepan. Heat and boil for
1-2 minutes
.
Reduce heat and quickly add peanut butter. Stir until well blended.
Remove popcorn from oven or electric skillet. Drizzle peanut butter mixture over the popcorn. Stir until popcorn is evenly coated.
Tear off 10 sheets of waxed paper, about 10x10-inches each.
Place ½ cup mounds of popcorn in the center of each piece of waxed paper. Fold up corners around popcorn and twist the top. Press into a ball.
Repeat last step to make 10 balls total.
Notes
Popcorn can cause choking in children under 3 years of age.
Children under 1 year of age should not eat honey.
