Garlic Ginger Marinade
This basic recipe pairs with beef, pork, poultry, and vegetables.

vinegar

teaspoon
ground ginger

garlic clove, minced
or ½ teaspoon minced or ¼ teaspoon powder

brown sugar

soy sauce

canola oil
Instructions
Mix together all ingredients in a large bowl.
Trim and prepare food. For meat, remove visible fat. For vegetables, wash and peel (if desired). Cut or slice food as desired.
Add prepared food to the bowl of marinade. Mix thoroughly so food is completely coated with marinade.
Cover bowl tightly and refrigerate for a few hours or overnight.
When ready to cook, throw away used marinade. Cook as desired. If basting during cooking, use fresh marinade.
