all-purpose flour

Tablespoons
CNP Mexican Seasoning
or chili powder

cups
low sodium chicken broth
cold

8-ounce can
tomato sauce
1
teaspoon
garlic powder
2 tsp minced or 4 garlic cloves
Water
as needed
Instructions
In a large saucepan, lightly brown flour over medium-high heat, stirring often.
When browned, add chili powder. Heat just long enough to warm the chili powder.
Slowly add broth, stirring constantly to prevent lumps.
Add tomato sauce and garlic.
Cook 15-20 minutes
, or until mixture is thick and smooth. If it is too thick, add a little water.
