Vinegar Marinade
Vinegar helps oil marinate meat more quickly. Use this recipe on meats for grilling or broiling.

Ingredients

vinegar or lime juice
½
cup
canola or olive oil
½
teaspoon
black pepper
¼
teaspoon
salt
Instructions
Mix together all ingredients in a large bowl.
Trim and prepare food. For meat, remove visible fat. For vegetables, wash and peel (if desired). Cut or slice food, if desired.
Add prepared food to the bowl of marinade. Mix thoroughly so food is completely coated with marinade.
Cover bowl tightly and refrigerate for a few hours or overnight.
When ready to cook, throw away used marinade. Cook as desired. If basting during cooking, use fresh marinade.
