UW Extension and Initiative Teams
Logos are provided in several different formats. Right click to save files to your desktop. Not sure what format to use? The following guidelines offer suggestions:
- JPG – High or low resolution. Used for Websites and for desktop printing.
- TIF – High resolution, large file-size images used for printing.
- PNG – Transparent background. Versatile format for Web and print. Used when placing an image onto a colored background.
- EPS (Encapsulated Postscript) – High-resolution vector file commonly used by print shops when producing precise images in large and small formats. A vector file can be enlarged and reduced without a loss in resolution.
