Vinegar Marinade
Vinegar helps oil marinate meat more quickly. Use this recipe on meats for grilling or broiling.

Ingredients
- ¼ cup vinegar or lime juice
- ½ cup canola or olive oil
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Mix together all ingredients in a large bowl.
- Trim and prepare food. For meat, remove visible fat. For vegetables, wash and peel (if desired). Cut or slice food, if desired.
- Add prepared food to the bowl of marinade. Mix thoroughly so food is completely coated with marinade.
- Cover bowl tightly and refrigerate for a few hours or overnight.
- When ready to cook, throw away used marinade. Cook as desired. If basting during cooking, use fresh marinade.
