Green Chili
Pork and hot peppers make a delicious homemade version of chili.

Ingredients
- 1 pound lean pork
- 6 Tablespoons flour
- 1 Tablespoon canola oil
- 1 small onion (diced)
- 4 garlic cloves, minced (or 1 teaspoon powder)
- 1 4-ounce can green chiles (drained and chopped)
- 1 15-ounce can tomatoes (undrained)
- 4 cups water
- black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cut up pork and lightly coat with flour.
- Heat oil over medium-high heat in skillet or electric skillet. Add pork and cook until browned on all sides.
- Add onions and garlic. Cook until brown.
- Add jalapeño, tomatoes with liquid, water, and black pepper. Simmer for 1 hour.
