Ingredients
 

  • 1 cup ½ pound lean ground beef (beef, turkey, or game)
  • 2 teaspoons CNP Italian Seasoning
  • 1 6-ounce can tomato paste
  • 1 cup low-fat mozzarella cheese (shredded)
  • ½ cup low-fat cottage cheese
  • ¼ cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
  • 1 cup low-fat milk
  • cup CNP Master Mix
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • Nonstick spray

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F. Coat a 9- or 10-inch pie plate or 8x8-inch baking pan with non-stick spray.
  • Stir ground meat over medium heat until brown; drain fat. Stir in spices, tomato paste, and 1⁄2 cup of the mozzarella cheese.
  • In the baking pan, layer cottage cheese and Parmesan cheese. Spoon meat mixture over the top.
  • In a bowl, beat milk, CNP Master Mix, eggs, salt, and pepper until smooth. Pour over the meat mixture.
  • Bake at 400°F for 30-35 minutes. Sprinkle remaining mozzarella cheese on top.
  • Cool 5 minutes more before serving.
