CNP Master Mix Cheese Pizza
This pizza uses CNP Master Mix, a basic baking mix you can make ahead of time and store. The whole-grain flour adds fiber to this meal. Serve this pizza with a green salad, a glass of milk, and a piece of fruit for a complete MyPlate meal.

Ingredients
- 1 ⅓ cup CNP Master Mix
- 2 Tablespoons canola oil
- ¼ to ⅓ cup water
- 1 8-ounce can tomato sauce
- 1 cup CNP Meat Sauce
- 1 small onion, minced (or 1 Tablespoon instant minced onion)
- 1 garlic clove (or ½ tsp minced or ¼ tsp powder)
- 1 teaspoon CNP Italian Seasoning
- 1 cup low-fat mozzarella cheese (shredded)
- grated Parmesan or Romano cheese (optional)
- nonstick spray
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F. Spray a baking sheet (any size) with nonstick spray.
- Combine CNP Master Mix with enough water to make a soft dough. Knead in the bowl 12 times.
- Roll or pat out on baking sheet. Bake at 425°F for 8-10 minutes or until partially baked and starting to brown. Reduce heat to 375°F and remove crust from the oven.
- Mix tomato sauce, CNP Meat Sauce, onion, and spices. Spread over partially baked crust. Sprinkle with cheeses.
- Bake at 375°F for 10-15 minutes or until topping is hot and crust is brown.

Variation
- Favorite Toppings: before adding cheese, add your favorite pizza toppings (green bell peppers, mushrooms, olives, pepperoni, sliced onion, etc.) then add the cheese.
