Carbon County 4-H Foundation Scholarship – Due April 1st

Carbon County 4-H Foundation- Stallion Service Auction Scholarship – Due April 1st

  • Any senior 4-H member (age 14-18 as of Jan 1st of current year) enrolled in Carbon County school who is or has been enrolled in the Carbon County horse program is eligible.
  • This scholarship is to any college, university or trade school of the recipient’s choice.

Carbon County Stock Grower’s Association Scholarship – Due April 1st 

  • All applicants must have graduated (or equivalent) from a Carbon County high school.
  • All applicants must attend a school of higher learning in Wyoming or bordering state.
  • Open to: A) Any student enrolled in a field of agriculture – and/or B) Immediate relatives of paid Carbon County Stock Grower members (to included sons, daughters, and grandchildren) wishing to study any field.

Wyoming Farm Bureau Federation Continuing Education Scholarship– Due March 1st

  • Must be currently enrolled at a Wyoming Junior College, UW, a Wyoming trade school, an accredited virtual college or university as long as the student is a Wyoming resident and lives in Wyoming
  • Entering college freshman or postsecondary education programs are NOT eligible. (see requirement directly above)
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA, based on a 4.0 system.
  • Under 21 be a current member or an immediate family member who is a current member of a Wyoming County Farm Bureau Federation (WyFB). 22 or older be a current member.
  • The application and essay must be handwritten, all questions must be answered, and signatures must be signed.
  • Failure to follow application requirements will result in disqualification.

Wyoming Farm Bureau Scholarship & WyFB Livingston Famly – H.J King Memorial Scholarship – Both  Due March 1st 

  • Provide parent’s Wyoming Farm Bureau Membership Number
  • Returning college students or trade school students DO NOT qualify ( see the WyFB Continuing Education Scholarship)
  • A graduating senior from high school in Spring 2025 OR
  • A Wyoming high school graduate OR A Wyoming resident who, at the time of application submission, has successfully completed or will successfully complete their final semester of academic curriculum with a home school, charter school, virtual school, or GED program.
  • Have at least a 3.00 cumulative grade point average, based on a 4.00 system. (Principal must sign to verify cumulative GPA)
  • Attend an accredited college, university, or trade school
  • The application and essay must be handwritten, all questions must be answered, and signatures must be signed.

Carbon County Ranch & Farm Bureau Federation ScholarshipDue April 15th at 5:00 PM MST

  • Be a graduating high school senior or have a high school diploma or GED
  • Be enrolled in or planning to attend a college, university, trade school, or
    other continuing education program.
  • Be 22 years old or younger as of January 1, 202
  • Submit a fully completed application, including an essay (which may be handwritten or typed)
  • Ensure the application is received by mail, in person, or via email by
    5:00 PM MST on April 15. Applications can be emailed to scholarship.ccrfb@gmail.com.

              Application preference will be given to: 

  • Individuals who are or are children of Carbon County Ranch & Farm Bureau Federation members.
  • Individuals pursuing agriculture-related fields.
  • Individuals who volunteered at the 2025 Carbon County Ranch and Farm Bureau Cowboy Ball

Carbon County Commissioners Scholarships: – Due Last Friday in April 

  • Available to Students who plan on attending the University of Wyoming or any Wyoming Community College.
  • Is not specific to graduating high school students. Non-traditional students are eligible.
  • Must be a resident of Carbon County
  • There will be 3 new scholarships and 1 renewal scholarship awarded each year.

Wyoming Association of Fairs Scholarship – Due May 1st

  • Current or Alumni Wyoming 4-H or FFA member.
  • Must be a college Sophomore, Junior or Senior attending any Wyoming-accredited institute of higher learning.
