Ready to Join 4-H?
4-H is for those ages 8-18 with a Cloverbud Program for ages 5-7. ( Determined by age on January 1st of each year).
The 4-H Year runs from October 1 – September 30 each year. The 4-H Year is NOT complete at the completion of county fair. All new members can enroll and returning members can re-enroll on or after October 1 each year. There is no enrollment “deadline” in Laramie County, however, all members must be enrolled to participate in county fair. Although other projects may require sooner enrollment.

Military Partnership
4-H National Headquarters at USDA is pleased to have established formal partnerships with Army Child, Youth and School Services, Air Force Airman and Family Services, and Navy Family Readiness to support positive youth development education for youth whose parents are serving in the military. In Wyoming, the 4-H Military Partnership is grant-funded and serves youth at F.E. Warren Air Force Base in Cheyenne, WY, as well as geographically dispersed youth throughout the state.
4-H provides consistent programming and a supportive environment for military youth facing frequent moves and deployments. Through partnerships with military branches and the Land Grant University Extension System, 4-H offers training, technical assistance, and club opportunities for youth on and off installations, including those in National Guard and Reserve families in civilian communities.
