$0.89 per serving
Ingredients
- 2 large sweet potatoes (peeled)
- 2-4 teaspooons canola oil (or nonstick spray)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F. Spray 2 baking sheets with nonstick spray or coat with oil.
- Slice sweet potatoes into 0-thick circles. If slices are thicker, increase the baking time. Try to make the slices the same thickness so they will get done at the same time.
- Arrange sweet potatoes on baking sheets so they do not overlap. Brush with oil or spray with cooking spray and sprinkle with salt and pepper, if desired.
- Bake at 400°F until they begin to brown lightly, about 30 minutes. Check frequently while baking and flip chips over halfway through.
- Cool on a rack and serve.
Notes
Variation
- Change Spices: Instead of salt and pepper, add a sprinkle of cinnamon to the sweet potatoes before baking.
