Bean Dip-in-a-Bag
Kids love smashing their own beans to make this low-fat recipe.

Ingredients
- ⅓ cup cooked pinto beans (or about 3 ounces canned and drained beans)
- 1 teaspoon low-fat plain yogurt
- 1 Tablespoon Homemade Salsa
- 1 small resealable plastic bag
Instructions
- Place all ingredients in a small resealable plastic bag. Squeeze out excess air and seal.
- Mash everything together with your fingers.
- Open bag or cut off corner of bag and squeeze out dip.
- Enjoy with vegetables, tortilla chips, or whole-wheat crackers.
Notes
Variations
- Change the Beans: For variety, try black beans or other types of beans.
- Make it Spicy: Add chili powder or hot sauce to the bag.
