Red Enchilada Sauce
Enjoy this made fresh from scratch sauce with CNP seasoning.

Ingredients
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 3 Tablespoons CNP Mexican Seasoning (or chili powder)
- 2 cups low sodium chicken broth (cold)
- 1 8-ounce can tomato sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder (2 tsp minced or 4 garlic cloves)
- Water (as needed)
Instructions
- In a large saucepan, lightly brown flour over medium-high heat, stirring often.
- When browned, add chili powder. Heat just long enough to warm the chili powder.
- Slowly add broth, stirring constantly to prevent lumps.
- Add tomato sauce and garlic. Cook 15-20 minutes , or until mixture is thick and smooth. If it is too thick, add a little water.
